Elementary Counselor: Red Ribbon Week

Keep Your Head In The Game: Be Drug Free

by Matt Beck

August 05, 2009

During the month of October, students participate in drug abuse prevention activities during guidance lessons and special activities during Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is a week long celebration that is an ideal way for students to unite and take a visible stand against alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Our goal in making our school and community a safer place in which to live and learn can be accomplished through our month long quest to promote a drug free lifestyle for our students.
